HIPAA and GDPR Support
Many of our customers are required to follow HIPAA and GDPR. The right to be forgotten and to remain anonymous are among the most important requirements for data protection and privacy. To ensure that your customers' data is protected, we introduced the dedicated feature that allows you to store all the chats in your CRM, remove singular messages, or delete whole chats. Once you request LiveChat team to delete all your LiveChat Archives, you can still modify the chats saved in your AI CRM to keep only the data you need or are allowed to.
Deleting singular messages
To delete a singular message, open Chat Archives in the AI CRM Fullscreen view and click the trash bin icon next to the chosen message. Once the message is deleted, it will be replaced with a note who deleted it and when. The deletion is irreversible.
Deleting whole chats
To delete all the messages in the chat, click the "Delete Messages" button in the top right corner.

Secure file sharing
AI CRM supports secure file sharing on both sides. Instead of using the default file-sharing feature in LiveChat, where files are not scanned and are available to everyone having the direct link, we highly recommend using our dedicated secured file sharing. Each file shared by your agents or requested by the customers will be scanned by our antivirus. Additionally, the access to the files is time-limited. You can also delete the shared file anytime.
BAA agreement
For HIPAA compliance, we offer the BAA (Business Associate Agreement). A BAA is a legally required contract under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) in the United States. It’s an agreement between a HIPAA-covered entity (like a healthcare provider, health plan, or healthcare clearinghouse) and a business associate—a person or organization that handles protected health information (PHI) on behalf of the covered entity.
Local LLM Inference
Local LLM Inference refers to running inference (i.e., generating responses, predictions, or outputs) from a Large Language Model (LLM) on your own device or server rather than sending the data to a cloud provider like OpenAI, Google, or Anthropic. If you would like to prevent the AI features of our AI CRM from breaking the compliance, we can explore the option of dedicated LLM (AI model) deployment on our servers or using your in-house one.
